Joe Woodard, President and Founder of Creative Financial Software, is a nationally recognized QuickBooks and accounting technology trainer. Joe provides training each year to literally thousands of other accounting professionals in both live and web-based venues.

Creative Financial Software provides training directly as well as through our relationship with Intuit and state CPA societies. Joe also provides web-based training periodically to accounting professionals throughout the U.S.

Joe plans to represent Intuit at various accounting technology shows during 2009.

2008 Intuit Accounting Professionals User Conferences. Intuit invited Joe to speak at the first annual QuickBooks User Conference for Accounting Professionals. Joe will present numerous sessions on intermediate and advanced QuickBooks topics throughout the two day conference. Joe will also participate in a keynote expert panel - a dream team of QuickBooks consultants and small business experts who will address the QuickBooks consulting "Staffing Crisis" - an extremely relevant topic that we are excited Intuit is addressing during the conference. Georgia CPA Society 2008 Southeast Accounting Show: Atlanta GA - August 27-28, 2008 The Georgia Society of CPAs invited Joe to teach a 1.5 hour course on QuickBooks - designed for the accounting professional with clients who use QuickBooks. Joe is currently working with the GA Society regarding content for this training segment. Joe is currently coordinating with Intuit as Intuit will be present at the show. It is likely Joe will present 15 minute sessions on a variety of topics at the Intuit booth - in addition to the session during the show. Check back later for more information. Intuit's 3rd Annual Enterprise Solutions User Conference: Dallas TX - September 10-12, 2008 Intuit has invited Joe to speak again at the 3rd annual QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions User Conference. The Enterprise Solutions User Conference is designed especially for businesses who use Enterprise Solutions or who would benefit from doing so. Though the conference focuses on many features that are available only in Enterprise Solutions, the content is applicable enough to QuickBooks Pro and Premier for any QuickBooks user (and consultant) to benefit from attending the courses. This year Joe will teach advanced QuickBooks topics targeted to QuickBooks consultants - many of whom will attend the conference due to the Enterprise Solutions Reseller mini-conference on September 9. Joe will also present a session on a new feature available in QuickBooks 2009 a feature I am unfortunately not at liberty to detail on my website at this time. Suffice to say that it is one of the most exciting improvements to QuickBooks for accounting professionals that Intuit has ever offered in a new version! Advanced Seminars for QuickBooks Users - Denver Colorado - July 17, 2008. Marilyn Sudbeck, CPA of Denver Colorado invited Joe Woodard to speak at a special, one day QuickBooks seminar. Joe will speak on various ways you can adapt QuickBooks to work in various industries (i.e. "workarounds") as well as steps necessary to locate and fix various QuickBooks data entry errors and data file setup problems. Joe's courses are only one of a wide range of topics offered across 4 different training tracks. This one day QuickBooks course will include intermediate and advanced technical topics - specifically targeted to the needs of the QuickBooks user. However, given the more advanced nature of the training, QuickBooks advisors and other accounting professionals will find many of the courses beneficial. 2008 Maryland Business and Accounting Expo - Baltimore MD - June 17-18. Joe Woodard will co-present on the Intuit-commissioned study projecting future trends in small business. The study produced a report entitled "The Future of Small Business." The report and our presentation at the Expo will look at the significant trends and forces affecting small business and entrepreneurship over the next decade. Joe will present this segment with Catherine Harrell, Senior Marketing Manager, Intuit, Inc. Intuit's Annual QuickBooks Update Tour - for version 2009. Joe will present again this year for Intuit during the annual update tour. This year the tour will include various sessions that cover not just the new features of version 2009 but in selected cities there will be training designed to prepare ProAdvisors for the Advanced Certification exam. CFS Announces 1st Annual QuickBooks Conference - Fall 2009

Creative Financial Software is formally announcing its intention to conduct an in-depth, highly advanced QuickBooks training conference each fall in our home town of Atlanta Georgia. We plan to make this QuickBooks Consultant and Power-User conference the most in-depth QuickBooks training event in the country. There are numerous organizations (including Intuit) that provide high-quality training events on QuickBooks software, but historically the majority of these advanced QuickBooks training events have been in the west and southwest areas of the country. After receiving innumerable requests (many from people in the eastern part of the country) we feel that an annual conference in Atlanta will allow many accounting professionals and QuickBooks power-users with access to in-depth QuickBooks training with less travel time and expense. Though locale is one major motivation for conducting this conference in Atlanta, we certainly extend our invitation to the conference to everyone in the country who wishes to attend. We strongly believe that every participant will get a high return on his/her investment in this event.

The change in emphasis on the part of some other national training providers is another motivation for conducting this annual conference. Some non-Intuit training organizations have moved away from QuickBooks-centric events. They have done so in favor of more general accounting technology topics and topics on applications that integrate with QuickBooks. Though we believe this type of content is valuable and CFS supports the concept, we also know that many accounting professionals and QuickBooks power-users consider highly advanced, QuickBooks-only instruction to be a solid investment of their time and money - even a staple of regular continuing professional education. We have received innumerable requests for this type of training and we plan to oblige.

Over the coming months CFS will contact Intuit and many nationally-recognized QuickBooks trainers in the hope that they will be involved with this annual event. As many of you know, Intuit conducted two conferences during 2008 for accounting professionals in which Joe Woodard participated as an instructor and keynote panelist. It is our intention that our event will compliment, not overlap, with the content of these Intuit conferences (should Intuit decided to conduct them again in 2009). CFS has a very strong, long-term relationship with Intuit, and we intend to coordinate very closely with Intuit to avoid any significant duplication of training.
